A series of still and moving images that have digitally explored sites flagged for infrastructural change as part of the ongoing development and construction of the City Rail Link in Auckland, New Zealand. The manipulated images render glitches to digital memory, revealing only the approximate presence of buildings, spaces and surrounding urban life.
While ephemeral moments are easily lost, the transitional viewpoints introduce systems of logarithmic space, memory of place and ambiguous timing to create unreliable landscapes that become part of an alternative urban imaginary that unsettles time across space.
